About us

Since its founding in 1991, Geokon-Zagreb d.d. has grown into a strong and reliable company providing investigation, design, supervision and technical inspection services in the field of geotechnics, hydraulic engineering and roads. In 2021, Geokon-Zagreb d.d. marks its 30 years of existence during which the company has invested in knowledge and equipment, focusing on the development of professional and technical knowledge with the aim of implementing optimal design and technical solutions always taking into account the requirements of the clients. Aware that we affect the environment through our actions, we foster responsible approach in the search for sustainable solutions that will enable future generations to coexist with nature.

The company's core business activities are:

  • Geotechnical and hydrogeological research
  • laboratory testing
  • project documentation preparation of all levels of development
  • professional and technological supervision of construction
  • implementation of technical observations of geotechnical and hydro technical structures

    • Geokon-Zagreb d.d is organised in two operational departments:

  • CONSULTING DEPARTMENT - 26 employees
  • INVESTIGATION AND RESEARCH DEPARTMENT – 20 employees
  • JOINT AFFAIRS - 5 employees
    • The company has its own office building at the Starotrnjanska 16a, Zagreb with about 900 m2, including an accredited laboratory with testing equipment. The company has its own equipment for field testing and in situ testing, and measuring equipment used for monitoring, as well as high-standard IT equipment and professional software.

    Today, Geokon-Zagreb d.d. has 50 employees, of which 29 with university degree, 2 with associate degree and 19 with secondary school diploma.

    • Being a member of the Croatian Standards Institute, the company encourages its employees to get actively involved in work of technical committees and subcommittees and participate in standardisation of products and services in the construction sector.

    HARDWARE

    The workplaces are equiped with computers (38 desktops and 21 laptops), the networking is provided by 2 Rack server computers and 4 file servers. Other equipment includes 3 plotters A0, 1 plotter A1 and 2 colour laser corporative printers/scanners A3.
